Dutoit + Ravel, Stravinsky + Los Angeles Phill
What a gorgeous combination it is!
Because...
1)Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra played
2)Ravel and Stravinsky.and Ginastera (I didn't know well about this composer...)
3)conducted by Charles Dutoit
4)in the Walt Disney Concert Hall
4)that designed by Frank O Goery
We finished today's task,and hurried up to the amtrak station by taxi.
Though the train had delayed for 20 minutes,we could arrive to the concert hall around 19:30.
However, because of some persons who cannot read the atmosphere from the waiting line of their back,continued to talk with staff in the box office about the other day's ticket for more over 20-25 minutes,it was 3 minutes before the music start when I could exchange my reservation code to the paper ticket.
Anyway.
Though I reserved the bench seat of $22.5,the view was great.
Usually we watch the hip of the conductor,but tonight I could observe how the conductor communicate with musicians.
Actually I watched Dutoit's hip at 10 days ago,when I visited to the San Francisco Symphony (please see the feb10 blog).
On the back way to Anaheim,San Quoakin line of amtrak had stopped rail service because of some accident,they prepared the hi-way bus.
